Cofounder & CEO
Nick is a data scientist from Zurich who understood the power of data to bring companies on a sustainable path. Prior to Nala he worked for BCG Gamma.

Cofounder & CPO
Nicolas is an economist from Zurich understanding the complexity of climate and nature and translating it into the business world. Prior to Nala he worked for Credit Suisse  and the Swiss National Bank.

Cofounder
Anna is a serial entrepreneur from Berlin, dedicating her life to nature and the planet. Prior to Nala she founded Planetly and Outfittery.

Yoni Pasternak
Chief Commercial Officer
Yoni has worked on a wide array of sustainability topics across nature and climate, specifically focusing on how data can enhance corporate sustainability. Prior to Nala, he worked at natcap, Wayfair, and Bain & Company.
Dr. Tim DuBois
Chief Science & Technology Officer
Tim is a physicist who was a researcher for several years at the Stockholm Resilience Centre, working on the influential Planetary Boundaries framework. Prior to Nala, he was Head of Scientific Computing at Cervest, a climate intelligence platform.
Dr. Charlie Schoonman
Senior Product Manager
Combining geophysics expertise and a passion for sustainability, Charlie is determined to fix the climate and nature crises. Prior to Nala, she led product teams at Mitiga Solutions and Cervest, and held research roles at the University of Cambridge and the Alfred Wegener Institute studying Arctic glacier dynamics and mantle plumes.
Dr. Anna Malinovskaya
Data Scientist
Anna is a dedicated statistician with a passion for leveraging data and scientific insights to benefit the environment. She has a PhD in statistics and was formerly a Researcher at Leibniz Universität Hannover, specialising in statistical process monitoring and risk modelling.
James Richardson
Senior Data Engineer
James is passionate about designing and optimising nature data infrastructures. Prior to Nala, he worked as a Data Engineer at Alexander Thamm, a data science consultancy, and as a Data Consultant at passcon, a finance-focused consultancy.
Anna Kaschke
Founders Associate
An MSc in Sustainability from HEC Paris and a passion for purposeful work brought Anna to Nala. She acquired diverse skills in B2B ClimateTech at Planetly, a CO2 management platform, and in Strategy Consulting at BCG BrightHouse and Porsche Consulting.

Dr. Robert McElderry
Ecologist, ETH Zurich
Robert is a quantitative ecologist with broad experience in life history theory, population dynamics, quantitative genetics and spatial modeling. Currently, he is a Product Manager at ETH Zurich's Crowther Lab, a leading ecology lab, where he oversees the SEED Biocomplexity Index.
Dr. Johannes Knubben
Head of Sustainability, HIPP
Dr. Johannes Knubben has extensive experience in global food systems and supply chain management. As Head of Sustainability at HiPP, he has been instrumental in developing and implementing strategies focused on biodiversity, sustainable farming and sustainability reporting. His strong scientific background and passion for corporate biodiversity management make him an invaluable member of our advisory board.
